Pipe safety first, second and third!

Inflatable pipe plugs and sealing cushions are fantastic tools. And, for infrastructure work, especially, you totally can’t get by without them.

But, as always, it’s a matter of safety first. (And second and third.)

Absolutely nothing beats proper training. And anyone who is an “assistant” or is in training should always be closely supervised for their own good and the benefit of everyone on the project.

If over a decade on the job has taught me anything, it’s that Health and Safety isn’t just a matter of box-ticking. And, over the years, pretty much everyone I’ve ever had a yarn with has a story about a near miss. (It’s OK, I never name names!)
